Top News and Magazines Apps on Android in Denmark: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Denmark saw varied performance among the top news and magazines applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed distinct trends in downloads and active users.

TV2 Fyn - nyheder og video showed a fluctuating download pattern. Starting from a modest 88 downloads, the numbers peaked at 1.5K in early January, eventually declining to 289 by the end of March.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $840 in mid-February, while downloads started strong at over 1K but gradually decreased to 592 by the end of March. Active users saw a steady decline from approximately 58K to 47K.

TV 2 Kosmopol maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1K and experiencing slight fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at 569.

tvSyd had an interesting trend, with downloads initially dropping in February but recovering to 1.35K by the end of March.

DR Nyheder demonstrated a steady increase in active users, rising from 66K to over 75K. Downloads were initially high, reaching 1K in mid-January, and then stabilized around 559 by the end of March.
